Position Overview Nevados is seeking an accomplished and driven Sr. Sales Manager with extensive experience in the distributed generation solar sector. In this strategic role, you will lead efforts to drive sales of distributed solar generation projects, foster strong relationships with clients, and contribute to the growth and leadership of the sales team. You will engage with key clients and stakeholders, spearhead business development efforts, and ensure the seamless delivery of innovative solutions from initial engagement through project execution. This position demands deep expertise in solar project development and construction to provide clients with unparalleled support and guidance. As a member of our team, you will also play a pivotal role in shaping Nevados' public-facing strategy while representing a fast-growing, technology-driven organization known for its groundbreaking advancements in solar power plant development.
\n ResponsibilitiesCultivate and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders across targeted market segments. Build and oversee a robust network of developers, EPCs, and engineers to support successful deal closures. Manage a portfolio of key accounts, achieving and exceeding annual sales targets. Define and monitor meaningful KPIs that align with the company's core values and strategic goals. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize project outcomes, including civil grading analysis, layout planning, and energy yield assessment. Represent Nevados at industry events, delivering impactful presentations and establishing the company as a market leader. Contribute to marketing initiatives, such as webinars, white papers, interviews, brochures, and other promotional efforts. Partner with the Sales and Business Development teams to refine strategies and manage associated budgets effectively. Qualifications5+ years of sales or business development experience in the renewable energy sector.At least 2+ years of experience in solar project development, construction, pre-construction, or estimation, with 1+ years in a senior customer-facing role. Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within the solar or renewable energy sectors. Expertise in distributed generation markets, solar project economics, and energy policy frameworks. Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities. Demonstrated ability to articulate technical and financial advantages of Nevados' solutions to diverse audiences. Highly motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to exceed sales targets. Comfortable with frequent travel to client sites and industry events. Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
\n$120,000 - $160,000 a year
