Job Summary:We are currently seeking a Sr Vehicle EMC Simulation Engineer.  In this role, you will work as a member of a multi-functional team and will be responsible for design and implementation of EMC solutions on Lucid products. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.Primary Responsibilities:Perform EMC-Simulations using 3D field simulation and circuit simulation tools in Electrification DomainPerform EMC problem analysis based on simulation results and support developmentDevelop EMI modeling methods to assess and improve the designs of LV and HV systems.Develop appropriate EMC-Simulation models and validate them using measurementsDevelop Vehicle grounding strategiesPerform CAD review of enclosures, connectors, and cables for EMC compliance.Qualifications:5 + years of related experience; Bachelor's or a higher degree; Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.Experience in the automotive/EV or relevant industry.Deep understanding of the physics and fundamental of low frequency and high frequency of electromagnetics.Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools, such as FEKO, CST, Ansys, or equivalentStrong knowledge of EMC and RF design principles, standards, and testing methodologiesGood Understanding of EMI/EMC regulations and international standards (such as FCC part 15/18/22/24/27 and CISPR 11/22/24/32/35, EN 61000-X series, UNECE R10).Extensive experience using various laboratory equipment such as LISNs, Antennas, Spectrum Analyzers, EMI Receivers, Oscilloscopes, Amplifiers etc.A strong desire to create state-of-the-art engineering products as an integral part of a capable team.Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical environments.At Lucid, we don't just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
