Job Description
Become a part of the team focusing on the Monitoring platform:
Operate and maintain current monitoring tools
Contribute to Continuous improvement of observability platforms
Work on high fidelity, low frequency alerting
Learn and improve daily SRE operational tasks - deployments, on-call, incident management.
Design and deploy various platform related systems - data stores, monitoring tools, event streaming platforms, etc. Be a part of the project team or lead a project to completion and full adoption in the team.
Management of all cloud infrastructure elements - AWS, private cloud, containers, VMs.
Write and maintain Ops documentation. Productize internal monitoring tools, drive adoption.
Work as a member of a cross-functional project team contributing to the technology-based solutions and consult on concept feasibility.
Basic Qualifications
3+ yrs of work experience
Preferred Skills
Relevant experience preferably in an Operations or Engineering environment
Ability to test and implement new software solutions, drive testing and integration work, lead the project to completion and drive adoption.
Coding experience, preferably Python.
Experience with container-based architectures (AWS ECS / Kubernetes).
Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
Hands-on experience with Linux administration and basic network troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, ...)
Knowledge of Virtualization, Cloud Architecture and Services, Automated Deployments
Strong understanding of web security and protocols HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, SQL and networking fundamentals
Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
Base Pay Range
$115,500 — $138,000 USD
