Sr Software Dev Engineer, FTVX Team (Whole World)FireTV Chennai is looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented software engineers who have experience in building innovative, mission-critical, high-volume cloud systems and device packages that power our world-class content forward experience for millions of customers. As a software engineer in this team, you are expected to design and implement micro cloud services and APIs serving ultra-high volume transactions and device packages for rendering. Your cloud services and APIs have a direct impact on customer experience and serve as a base for building varied features for FireTV. You will identify improvements to the current design, propose enhancements, identify impacts to dependent systems, implement, and roll out changes successfully. You continuously look for improvements that excite our customers, show bias for action, and get things done.
The Sr SDE will be the lead architect for the Conversation Surface on the FTV as endpoints and will define the technical roadmap for Operations and Tooling.
Key job responsibilities Help develop technical roadmap, strategy, customer experience, and roadmap for FireTV product initiatives.Facilitate the technical architecture between multiple complex systems.Create buy-in for the technical vision and strategy both internally and with key external partners.Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic or technical goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver the best product for our customers.Experience leading a high-performance team and a track record of mentoring. - Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
