Job Description Red Wing Shoes is seeking a Sr. Software Developer, Java to join our Software Dev, QA, and PMO department in Business Technology. This positions support will include maintaining business critical legacy applications, developing system plans that best fit business needs while maintaining a stable development environment, designing and implementing updates to applications as scalable, and translating designs.
Qualifications Required Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field of study, with a minimum of 6 years?of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience referenced.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in?eCommerce focused responsive/cross browser compliant development; Content management within a CMS platform; Multiple web technologies, including: XML, HTML, SCSS/CSS, AJAX/JavaScript/jQuery, ExpressJS, NPM, yarn, and SQL; JS Controllers, DS Script, ISML Templates, Jobs and service frameworks is highly encouraged; Working with and integrating with APIs and 3rd party system integrations (SOAP/REST) to payment, OMS, CRM, CMS & WMS systems; Working in an Agile team environment where you have actively participated in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation; Source control implementations and management, preferably GIT; Front end unit testing frameworks, such as Jasmine.
Candidates should hold knowledge, skill, or ability with basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process; An understanding of eCommerce capabilities, architecture, design, and development;?Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process; Strong understanding of the full eCommerce technology ecosystem including Digital Content, PIM, DAM, Payment, Tag Management, Web Analytics, Fraud Management; Strong?problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills; Effective?organization and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen; Ability to?influence through strong written and verbal communications.
Additional Preferred Experience:?
Understanding of Commerce Cloud platform capabilities, architecture, design, and development; Salesforce Commerce Cloud development and implementations on SFRA; Hands-on design, development of feature capabilities including setup and configurations within Commerce Cloud (SFCC Business Manager); JavaScript tooling (such as webpack, gulp or grunt), OCAPI, Typescript, C#, Angular, React; Working with Azure DevOps; UI/UX design.
