The Prime team seeks talented engineers who take great pride in both the technical and business contribution of their work. As a member of the Prime team, you will work closely with the business team to design and implement new features, using a variety of core languages and technologies including Java, Perl, and Linux to build highly scalable services.
Responsibilities:Design and implement new features for the Prime service.Work closely with the business team to understand requirements and deliver solutions.Minimum Qualifications:5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.Industry experience building global, large scale systems.Experience with distributed computing.Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle.Experience building complex and large scale software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
