Charles Schwab Investment Management (CSIM) is the asset management arm of the Charles Schwab Corporation. CSIM delivers a wide variety of products including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and money market funds within Schwab Asset Management Solutions (SAMS). The overall SAMS team embodies our firms commitment to providing client-centric solutions that help Schwab clients achieve their financial goals.
The CSIM Separately Managed Accounts Reconciliation Team reviews the accuracy of transactions daily in client accounts. The team's goal is to provide detailed, timely, and accurate reviews of client accounts. We hold ourselves to the highest of standards and strive to create a strong functional atmosphere in which our PMs and Traders can focus solely on making effective decisions for our clients' accounts.
Key job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Review transactions for client accounts.Cash and position reconciliation.Monitor and process corporate actions.Identifying, investigating, and resolving cash, position, and performance issues.Communicating with and monitoring our external vendors (custodians, accountants, etc.) and internal partners.Ensure data integrity and assist with system maintenance.Network with senior personnel internally and externally to resolve issues, gain needed information, and influence outcomes for the team.What you have Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Required3+ years of experience in financial operationsAbility to work a flex 8 hour schedule 7:00am – 5:00 pm ESTPreferred Qualifications: Experience with separately managed accounts and/or 40 ACT funds preferredFamiliarity with corporate actionsDemonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutionsRequire little instruction on day-to-day work in operational processesAbility to identify and solve issues proactively and independentlyStrong communication, teamwork, and relationship building skillsVestmark and BlackRock's Aladdin system experience preferredIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
