Key Qualifications:
Experience in design, characterization, and validation of consumer electronics, vehicle systems, input devices and/or HMI.
Experience in design and release of production displays, particularly TFT LCD panels, backlights and OLED panels.
A first principles mindset and the ability to blend performance and analysis to achieve a low-cost, modern display.
Experience in requirements development and transitioning ideas from sketches to reality.
Experience in leading engineering or technical teams in bringing a display to mass production.
Description and Responsibilities:
As part of this team, you will be responsible for development of different vehicle displays with a focus on mass production scalability and cost optimization.
Display System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced display technologies into our vehicle, ensuring seamless performance and reliability.
Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control processes for display panels, ensuring our products and modules meet automotive validation standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with electrical engineers, software developers, and other teams to achieve cohesive and integrated display solutions.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source display components and oversee production processes. Manufacturing experience in TFT LCD and OLED production lines is a plus.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of designs, integration processes, and testing procedures.
Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging display technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance product performance.
8+ years of hands-on, detailed product design experience.
Experience with analytical tools for display development with a focus on should cost modeling.
Education and Experience:
Masters or PhD of Science in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Display Development.
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on industry experience
