As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and execution of engineering projects aimed at expanding, modifying, or constructing new facilities. Reporting to the Associate Director, Engineering, you will be responsible for developing designs, specifications, cost estimates, and managing project budgets and schedules. Your role will involve overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with design standards, and providing technical guidance to staff engineers and technicians. Key Responsibilities: Develop designs, specifications, and cost estimates for civil/structural projects across facilities in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Manage project budgets, schedules, and onsite construction activities to ensure project objectives are met. Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams, technicians, and contractors. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success and meet manufacturing needs. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Experience in project and construction management. Knowledge of heavy industrial facility construction practices. Technical understanding of structural analysis/design in steel, concrete, and wood. Ability to work in confined spaces, hot, humid environments, and at heights.
