Sr. Support Specialist

KARL STORZ is seeking an experienced Senior Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical support to our business partners. As the second level of contact, you'll resolve complex technical issues, lead project implementations, and mentor junior team members.

 

Key Responsibilities


Provide deskside support and resolve technical issues escalated from the Service Desk
Provide leadership to the Service Desk Analysts and Specialists both on projects as well as day-to-day support activities
Establish strong working relationships and understanding between the Service Desk and other Global IT support teams.
Lead project implementations, collaborate with Global IT teams, and provide guidance to junior team members
Develop and maintain knowledge of support procedures, business area processes, and IT systems
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues


 

Requirements


7+ years of IT experience, with a focus on technical support
Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
Advanced knowledge of Windows OS, Apple OS, Active Directory, MS Office Suite, ticketing systems, call center, mobile devices and anti-virus/spyware.
Advanced knowledge of desktops and laptop hardware.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in constrained areas, and travel occasionally
