We are seeking a dynamic Senior Systems Architect (SCADA) to lead the design, programming, and implementation of next-generation SCADA systems while providing ongoing support for existing platforms.

You'll collaborate closely with management, IT teams, and field operations, ensuring seamless communication with the energy control center to support safe and effective operations.
Key Responsibilities: Stay ahead of industry advancements in automation for the Gas sector.Mastery of SCADA systems, including AVEVA Enterprise SCADA, HMI display development, real-time database implementation, and more.Troubleshoot software, server issues, and collaborate with field technicians on data polling and RTU configuration.Ensure optimal SCADA system performance for Gas Control operators, enabling safe pipeline operations.Program and manage wireless modems and maintain detailed documentation of system changes.Utilize protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and BSAP, while writing scripts and SQL queries to enhance system functionality.This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime. **All Candidates Must be Authorized to Legally Work in the US Without Sponsorship** Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume) In-depth Knowledge of SCADA Fundamentals: Applicants must have a strong understanding of SCADA systems, particularly in the utility and gas sectors.Experience with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly OASyS DNA): Expertise in SCADA platform design, programming, and operational support is required.
Technical Proficiency in SCADA System Components: Must be proficient in HMI display development, real-time database implementation, and historical database data interfaces and reporting.Gas Measurement Metering Knowledge: Familiarity with gas measurement metering processes is essential.Troubleshooting Expertise: Ability to troubleshoot SCADA software and server issues.Experience with Field RTUs: Must be able to work closely with field technicians to configure, test, and troubleshoot data polling from SCADA systems to field RTUs.Wireless Modem Programming: Experience programming and configuring wireless modems (Sierra Wireless, Digi).Protocol Knowledge: Must have experience with RTU/PLC protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and BSAP.Scripting and SQL Query Skills: The ability to write simple scripts and SQL queries is required.Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Applicants must be able to maintain clear communication and coordination with the energy control center, management, and operating staff.
