Sr. Tax Associate (Hybrid Remote)

Salary: $100,000 - 110,000/year This position allows for 3 days per week remote / work from home. The Senior Tax Associate will play a critical role in supporting tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
\n ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all regulations.Assist in tax planning and advisory services, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.Conduct research on various tax issues and stay updated on current tax laws and regulations.Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and respond to inquiries related to tax filings.Mentor and train junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.Assist in the preparation of tax projections and estimates.Prepare supporting documentation for audits and represent clients during tax examinations as needed.Participate in special projects related to tax compliance and consulting. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA certification is preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
