Job Description: This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations team (GTIO), where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonalds works.

The Configuration Management Sr. Technical Product Analyst, within the Service Management Office (SMO) reports to the Configuration Management, Sr. Technical Product Manager.
This role is responsible for contributing towards the definition, oversight, effectiveness and continued improvement of the Configuration Management and IT Asset Management program for McDonalds globally.
Closely aligned with other SMO team members and cross functional stakeholders, this role will contribute towards the success of the Configuration Management and IT Asset Management and CMDB products, ensuring data completeness and accuracy and contribute significantly towards developing best in class asset lifecycle configuration management capabilities and an organized IT Asset Management system to track and manage company assets across their full lifecycle.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Contributes to the end-to-end success of Configuration Management and IT Asset Management capabilities and features from ideation through implementation and through maintenance and support.
Serves as a significant contributor towards the effectiveness and efficiency of McDonalds global hardware and software asset management and CMDB program.
Ensures the completeness and accuracy of the CMDB.
Works with internal and external stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements, document new and refine existing demand for Configuration Management, Asset Management and CMDB capabilities and products.
Contributes towards and ensures consistent execution of Configuration Management policies, procedures, and processes.
Contributes towards and ensures consistent application of control processes and works cross functionally with stakeholders in utilizing configuration management and CMDB tools to analyze, review and track hardware, software and cloud-based assets.
Participates and contributes towards the Configuration Management, Asset Management and CMDB roadmap.
Monitors and maintains data, configuration items and data governance for the Configuration Management database.
Ensures CMDB is current, accurate and stable.
Defines, monitors, and reports on data KPIs.
Assists with data integration, discovery, and 3rd party solutions to enrich configuration items.
Promotes awareness and acceptance of the CMDB (including communications, facilitating education and awareness sessions, etc.)
Assists with data normalization and integration efforts.
Participates in platform, process and integration testing.
Helps develop and ensure compliance of a complete configuration management function, ensuring visibility and management of all configuration items and assets.
Visualizes data for effective communication and understanding.
Provides the functional design of the business requirements in a manner well understood by the developers and provides acceptance criteria.
Writes epics, user stories, acceptance criteria in automation scripts and participates in all agile events of the product group as a team leader.
Collaborates with other product teams, technical architects, developers, and tech leads to understand the technology roadmap for modernization.
Verifies the results of testing and raises defects/issues against the features owned.
Completes the end-to-end testing of the feature and provides sign-off for the code release into production.
Validate the production release by working with business users utilizing test accounts in production environment.
Builds and maintains strong working relationships with multiple diverse stakeholders across the company, including members of executive leadership.
Understands complex customer issues, converting them into problem statements and provides out of box solutions thru design thinking.
Qualifications: 4 years of product execution/technical business analyst experience 3 years of experience in configuration management role, leveraging ServiceNow and CMDB.
Experience defining user experience needs, writing epics, stories, and acceptance criteria in any automation scripting language such as Gherkin etc.
Direct experience participating in an Agile team.
Demonstrated experience in conducting user research.
Passion for online and mobile technology, and knowledge of industry structure, trends and influential companies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise, and manner to senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated capabilities working in ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.
Extremely knowledgeable about CMDB, Configuration Management, IT asset management, data relationship and service mapping due to the technical nature of the role.
Data visualization utilizing Power BI or similar tools Proven experience leveraging ServiceNow, ServiceNow hardware and software asset management, CMDB and CSDM 4.0 to contribute towards an effective Configuration Management and IT asset management program.
Preferred Qualifications: At least 1-2 years of experience in change and design initiatives, covering areas such as operations, IT, and product development.
Significant experience in writing SQL or NoSQL queries and/or designing reports with either relational data or big data.
Significant experience in user centric designs to drive the right customer journey outcomes.
IAITAM, CSAM, CITAM or similar certification.
