The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn Amazon Web Services (AWS) ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key Job ResponsibilitiesWithin WWSO, this position is a part of the Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist team, where you will lead GTM strategy for Amazon EC2 Performance with customers worldwide. We create sales plays, leverage partners, and build new initiatives that drive results for our customers. We provide critical feedback from customers to inform our product roadmap, and work closely with our partner network to build an ecosystem supporting our customers' goals. When a customer needs to innovate and requires a new way to leverage AWS, they count on us to innovate with them to build and deliver what they need.
About the TeamThe AWS EC2 Performance team was created to ensure customers can deploy the best, most scalable, and most performant architectures possible. You'll play an important role as an advocate with our service teams to ensure we are building the right products.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience5+ years of technology domain experience in application development leading teams delivering solutions at scale5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience5+ Years developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level5+ Years managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills with experience communicating to technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applicationsUnderstanding of NLP and LLMs. Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) fundamentals and LLM architectures is crucial.Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives (e.g. CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO) and Line of Business LeadersExperience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partnersExperience in a matrix sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing go-to-market growth initiatives and sales motionsDeep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms and a Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
