Job Summary

 

Senior General Diagnostic Technologist oversees the daily operation within the department and provides leadership to technologists and other staff as needed, provides technical guidance; assists with maintaining departmental records.
Monitors equipment, ensures appropriate inventory levels are maintained.

Conducts various general diagnostic procedures and works in partnership with other staff members and physicians.
Performs the duties and responsibilities of General Diagnostic Technologist.
Reviews requisitions to ensure completeness, verifying patient name, diagnosis, description of requested exam, etc.
; obtains missing clinical history or data from appropriate personnel or Hospital Information System.
Explains testing procedures to patients and/or family member; provides instructions to patient pre, during and post procedure; obtains patient's signature on consent form and places in the patients Medical Record.
Experience: Required: * 1-3 years Page 2 of 4 | December 30, 2024 Education: Required: * Associate's Degree Licenses And Certification: Required: * Basic Life Support * Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality * Registered Technologist-Radiography
