Volt is immediately hiring for a Bilingual Forklift Operator in Houston, TX.
As a Bilingual Forklift Operator you will: Operate forklifts : Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Loading and Unloading : Load and unload shipments, stacking items securely and efficiently. Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established guidelines. Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues promptly. Bilingual Communication : Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with team members, supervisors, and other staff. Quality Control : Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Efficiency and Productivity : Optimize load placement to maximize warehouse space and minimize handling time. Documentation : Complete necessary paperwork related to shipping, receiving, and inventory. This is a Full-Time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have: Experience : Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience. Bilingual Skills : Proficient in both English and Spanish. Physical Stamina : Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods. Attention to Detail : Keen eye for identifying damages or irregularities. Team Player : Collaborate effectively with colleagues and follow instructions. Safety-Conscious : Prioritize safety at all times. Pay Rate: $17.00 hourly
