Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Staff Accountant Responsibilities: Staff Accountant will be responsible for payroll processing for 50 union employees, weekly - entering time, and then assisting Controller with the post net processing; mostly MD & DC employees Staff Accountant will be responsible for billing for construction contracts - some monthly, some biweekly (less than 15 per cycle) Staff Accountant will be responsible for AP - coding, entering into the accounting system (75-100 invoices/month) Staff Accountant will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested Requirements: 2-3+ years of accounting experience required for Staff Accountant role Staff Accountant should have basic Excel skills - must be able to create a spreadsheet and work with existing spreadsheets Must have some knowledge of GL and how AP affects the GL Payroll experience is a plus but NOT required Construction experience is a plus but NOT required Sage 100 experience is a plus but NOT required Degree is a plus but NOT required Personality Fit: Driven and wants to succeed Focused and able to work independently Takes direction well Quick learner Able to meet deadlines Qualified candidates please submit your resume for immediate consideration for this exciting job opportunity!
