Responsibilities
• Obtain and understand financial operations for monthly close process• Support month-end close within designated time frame• Monitor fixed asset changes and monthly depreciation• Prepare bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, and prepaid insurance• Monitor account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items• Replenish and reconcile resident trust boxes• Assist in preparation and auditing of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports• Support A/P, A/R, and Payroll functions• Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting• 1+ years of general ledger or operational finance experience• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills• Experience in Microsoft Business Central is a plus• Experience in Healthcare preferred• Ability to manage and succeed as a team• Proactive and able to organize and prioritize tasks• Effective communication skills• Flexible and adaptable to changing decisions• Capacity to learn new systems and processes• Friendly, positive, and committed outlook
