Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant - Immediate Hire! CFS of New York is working with a full-service, extremely stable law firm with a wide variety of practice areas; and they are seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team.
The role will be hybrid - located in Downtown, NYC.


Responsibilities include: Work with the accounting team and peers with regards to making sure all billing is generated and sent out in a timely and efficient manner. Work with the team on aging reports and help pull aging information for the attorneys when asked Cash applications, check balances and help with collections and client questions Post incoming invoices/bills into Aderant, accurately attach client to corresponding invoice Apply incoming payments to Aderant Provide support to accounting department team members, as necessary Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant billing/accounts receivables experience with a Law Firm or Professional Services firm Experience with Aderant a plus Ability to stay organized and multi-task as well as meet deadlines when necessary.
