Staff Accountant

Our client, based in NYC (the heart of the historic Garment District,) is looking to onboard a Staff Accountant ASAP!
We have successfully placed another Staff Accountant in this group and they bring someone additional due to growth.Location: NYC (Garment District)Work modality: 100% in-officeCompensation: $70,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience level)Responsibilities: Perform daily bank reconciliations for multiple operating accounts Download bank data and upload it into the accounting system each morning Manage weekly payment preparations Execute monthly journal entries Assist in the potential opening of a new operating account Collaborate with AP team member handling T&E processing Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Strong banking experience Experience with T&E (Travel & Expense) processing Proficiency in Excel with ability to learn quickly NetSuite ERP system experience (preferred) Concur experience (preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines Excellent organizational and time management skills #ZRCFS
