We are looking for a Staff Accountant to play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of our monthly financial statements.
The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure that our financial statements and supporting workpapers are accurate and complete.
You will ensure financial data is properly captured, review monthly activity for accuracy and completeness, and provide insights into monthly fluctuations of balance sheet and income statement.
This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with diverse teams, managing detailed financial data, systems and processes in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in digital asset accounting, demonstrate a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
We are headquartered in SoHo in New York City, and this role has the option to be partially or fully remote.
Responsibilities Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
Manage employee spending by reviewing credit card transactions for compliance, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and guidelines.
Conduct detailed financial statement reviews, identifying inconsistencies, ensuring accuracy, and providing actionable insights to support financial reporting.
Assist in the first pass of coding digital asset transactions, ensuring proper classification, compliance, and integration into the financial reporting system.
Prepare comprehensive supporting schedules within established guidelines for internal management review and facilitate audits by providing accurate and transparent documentation to external auditors.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of relevant experience In-depth understanding of GAAP and financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement) Advanced Excel User Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment Nice to haves: Big 4 Experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Systems knowledge: NetSuite, Ramp, Bill, Navan, Zip Web3/crypto industry experience
Minimum full-time salary of $127,000-$141,000.

Full Time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity, tokens, and benefits, dependent on the position type.
