UES is looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Staff Geologist to join our team. \n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct field activities for soil and groundwater investigation and remediation projects.Perform environmental investigations, collect environmental data, and support environmental site assessments.Assist Senior Geologists with project execution and planning.Plan and manage soil and groundwater investigation activities.Analyze and interpret field data, creating detailed summaries.Write comprehensive technical reports for clients and stakeholders. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Geology or a related science field.1-3 years of experience in environmental consulting, including technical report writing.Legal authorization to work in the U.S.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.Willingness to travel up to 50-75%, which may include occasional overnight travel.Comfortable working in various outdoor site conditions and project locations.Ability to pass a workplace physical, drug screening, and background check.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with contractors, clients, regulatory personnel, and team members.Proficiency in technical writing and data interpretation PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Geoscientist-In-Training (GIT) or Professional Geoscientist (PG) license.40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training or equivalent.
