Staff Geotechnical Engineer

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Staff Geotechnical Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to support our geostructural design group in our Quakertown, Pennsylvania office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with, and be mentored by, experienced PEs on a wide variety of geotechnical and geostructural projects.
Staff Geotechnical (Geostructural) Engineer Responsibilities Subsurface investigations including borings and test pits, reviewing exploration logs, lab results, and plans Support senior staff in design and preparation of plans for retaining walls and support of excavation structures Perform engineering calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, slope stability, etc. under the observation of senior staff.
