We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Market Researcher to join our Market Research team. This mission-critical role combines conventional market research responsibilities with advanced analytics and data science expertise. The ideal candidate will lead our benchmarking, brand tracking, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) initiatives, driving member perception and value through rigorous data analysis and innovative system development. This individual will act as a hybrid market researcher and data scientist, leveraging tools such as R, SPSS, SAS, and SQL to automate processes and perform statistical analysis. Their work will provide key insights to inform business decisions and strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do:
Design and execute comprehensive benchmarking and brand tracking studies.
Develop and maintain systems for monitoring member perception and value.
Lead the development and implementation of NPS tracking systems.
Utilize advanced predictive techniques and statistical analysis to derive insights.
Program and analyze data using R, SPSS, or SAS.
Query BigQuery databases using SQL to pull internal data on members and integrate with survey analysis.
Draft custom survey questionnaires tailored to specific research objectives.
Triangulating data from multiple sources to synthesize findings and recommendations
Perform survey programming and ensure data quality.
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify key findings and trends.
Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with Product Management, Brand Strategy, Product Marketing, and Growth Marketing teams to ensure insights inform strategic decisions.
Drive continuous improvement and future development of tracking efforts to align with company goals.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in market research.
Minimum Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's or graduate degree in Market Research, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience
Proven experience in advanced statistical analysis and predictive techniques.
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Excel).
Strong SQL skills for querying databases and integrating data.
Experience with survey design, programming, and data analysis.
Familiarity with brand and marketing metrics, including Voice of the Customer initiatives.
In-depth understanding of Net Promoter Score (NPS) and its applications.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and lead complex projects.
Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey).
Knowledge of the financial services industry.
Experience with automation of data collection and analysis processes.
Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.

It's all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $247,000 - $298,000, plus equity and benefits.
