About the Job: Staff Physician / Adult Medicine We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Physician to join our Adult Medicine clinic in Hartford, Connecticut. This role involves providing comprehensive primary health care, including health promotion and disease prevention activities, in a highly collaborative environment. Compensation: $164,800.00 - $245,100.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive patient care and make clinical decisions based on evidence and departmental guidelines. Implement health promotion and disease prevention measures to enhance patient health. Work collaboratively within a care team to manage patient care effectively. Engage in effective communication with patients and their families, ensuring that their needs are understood and met. Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate medical records. Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines pertaining to medical practice and patient confidentiality. Keep abreast of the latest developments in medicine relevant to your practice and participate in continuing education activities. Use electronic health record systems competently and efficiently. Minimum Position Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine. Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases. Valid State of Connecticut medical licensure. Eligibility to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration. Commitment to quality and efficiency in the practice of medicine. Proven ability to maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation. Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within diverse teams. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years' experience in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care. Proficiency in Spanish and English, enhancing communication with a bilingual patient base. Experience with electronic medical record systems. Proven track record of effective medical practice in a community health setting. Skills: Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Adept at problem-solving and able to handle medical situations with accuracy and care. Capability to engage in resourceful and proactive management of clinic operations. Skills in using technology to enhance medical practice and patient care.
