This position will support our growth in technical critical mineral recovery and work across energy and mining sectors. This opportunity requires a dynamic individual looking for growth in new technologies and consulting. Location is the Salt Lake City, UT area.Role accountabilities:Experience in process engineering or metallurgy, with a focus in the mining sector as well as laboratory experience.Collaborating with project teams to plan and implement laboratory bench evaluations, pilot studies, process design, and solutions in the field. Coordinate and provide technical direction to analytical laboratories for routine and specialized testing methods. Support the development of pilot test designs. Support may include design calculations as well as piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) generation.Perform field work which may include bench scale testing, pilot scale operations, process water sampling, and environmental media sampling in compliance technical standards.Perform field work that may include work at an operating mine, including coordinating studies on mine material beneficiation.Qualifications & Experience:Serve as a technical resource on projects. 2 years of relevant experience.Demonstrated expertise in process engineering and operations.Preferred Qualifications:MS and at least 3 years of experience preferred.Technical degree in geochemistry, metallurgy, geology, hydrology, chemical engineering, or related field from an accredited university.Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and refresher certification and current medical clearance for hazardous waste site workMSHA 24 Hour New MinerWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
