The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for maintaining quality assurance requirements as established by the Quality Management System (QMS).
Provide real-time quality support.
Conduct quality analyses through audits, process walks, and surveillance.
Work closely with Quality Engineers on nonconforming material.
Assist in managing process corrective actions and suspect product containment.
What You Will Do:

Performs product/process audits and audit preparation through Monthly Floor Sweep, Process walks, Surveillance, and Certifications

Oversees stamp control

Maintains product quality by enforcing quality policies & procedures

Works with operators and inspectors on skill development and hands-on training

Coordinates containment activities with Quality Engineers

Identifies major trends and completes Sherlock Investigations for Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

Reviews and Approves First Article Inspections (FAI)

Manages flow of non-conforming materials (NCMs) in accordance with site policies and procedures

Creates and delivers Quality Alerts to communicate site-wide changes impacting production floor

Collaborates and communicates effectively

In addition to these responsibilities, the QAT may be presented with opportunities to: build new and/or enhance existing systems, create and implement training curriculum, support company-wide or site-wide initiatives, and provide input on updates to QMS Policies & Procedures, among other opportunities.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Moderate experience with hand tools and measuring equipment.
Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, customer specifications, purchase orders, and written and verbal instructions as required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and other project and engineering-related software programs.
Knowledge of SAP ERP, and TeamCenter PLM System.
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Good communication skills (written/verbal) with an aptitude for conveying complex technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work productively with team members and cross-functional teams

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
