Staff - Registered Nurse (Rn) - Apheresis - $36-54 Per Hour

Inova Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Apheresis for a nursing job in Dunn Loring, Virginia.

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Full Time, Weekender Registered Nurse for the Therapeutic Apheresis Specialty Program.
Must be able to work full time: Four consecutive 10-hour shifts (Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon) totaling 40 hours per week.
There is a premium weekend differential for this schedule.

The Apheresis Program helps inpatient and outpatient patients for the entire Inova Health System.
Some of the procedures include Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP), Leukapheresis (White Blood Cell Depletion), Plasmapheresis (Therapeutic Plasma Exchange), Plateletpheresis (Platelet Depletion), Red Blood Cell (RBC) Exchange and Therapeutic Phlebotomy.

Requirements:
- A minimum of one-year Critical Care Registered Nurse experience in the acute care setting required
- Prior Therapeutic Apheresis experience highly desired
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required
- Must obtain ACLS and PALS certification within 90 days of hire
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
- Proficient computer skills required
