The RN demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit topractice in New York State as an R.N.Basic Life Support TrainingInfection Control TrainingAssociates Degree in Nursing requiredBachelors Degree in Nursing preferredCertification in specialty preferredICU experience preferredEffective English communication skills, both written and oralAbility to use basic data entry and retrieval systems UNIT: Cardiac Surgical ICU ASSOCIATE REFERRAL PROGRAM NYSNA members who refer candidates for NYSNA positions receive $3,500!
