The weekends will be 8-hour shifts, the 12 hour Evening shift (11-1130) will be on a weekday). If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. - Experience: Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship. Preferred Experience of two years on a Labor and Delivery Unit. - Required Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units: Pediatric Advanced Life Support- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units: Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire - Required Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license - Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a postpartum unit, with current certification as an IBCLC.
