Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mental Health Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff Collaborate with Department Directors, physicians, and clinical staff to manage, assess and enhance the provision of mental health assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents and families in a manner that promotes continuous quality improvement, customer service, programmatic growth and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Children's Hospital. Develop, implement, and monitor staffing plans, scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements. Partner with departmental and hospital leadership to develop, integrate and expand Psychiatry Consultation and Emergency Department Mental Health programs throughout the hospital and the region. *Required Education and Experience* Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field Minimum of two years' experience providing direct treatment services *Required Credentials* Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in Washington State, licensed in appropriate field according to degree (e.g., LICSW, LMHC) or 5 years of equivalent experience with requirement to get licensed in appropriate field according to degree (e.g., LICSW, LMHC) within 1 year of hire. Safety Care certification (internal training) required within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter. *Preferred* Leadership experience is strongly preferred Minority Mental Health Specialist designation Experience with multi-system involved children with severe behavioral problems and/or developmental disabilities Experience with the King County MHP and Washington State Mental Health WACs Experience providing comprehensive intake evaluations with multi-axial diagnoses Management experience in health care setting. Experience providing direct treatment services to children and families Experience providing direct treatment services in an emergency department setting *Compensation Range* $115,277.00 - $172,915.00 per year*Salary Information* This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
