Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose This role coordinates and facilitates employee injury reduction and employee safety initiatives for the enterprise. They facilitate the employee event reviews and ensure execution of standardized employee / patient safety workflows. This role works closely with executive leadership at the HSOs and across the enterprise to establish follow-up to serious employee safety events. This role provides guidance, education and assistance in the development, implementation, and measurement for assigned projects and employee safety events. Must obtain CPI within six (6) months. Two to five years of Occupational Health experience may be substituted for the supervisory experience. Responsibilities Focuses on root causes and preventable error to provide guidance, education and coordination of employee safety initiatives and clinical performance improvement, including the development, implementation and measurement for assigned projects using a data driven approach. Communications effectively skills and a collaborative approach in providing education, coaching, and assistance to team members and leaders with regard to improving employee safety, clinical quality improvement, and WPV. Performs tasks and duties associated with ES & WPV program including risk identification, risk assessment, and risk mitigation. Acts as a subject matter expert and provides input and guidance on continual advancement of employee safety program and WPV initiatives BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position.
