We're looking for an experienced Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Federal) to join our ZPA team, reporting to the Senior Manager SRE.
This role requires Secret Security Clearance that you must maintain throughout employment.
An Information Assurance Technician Level 2 Certification is also required, but you can get that within your first few weeks of employment.
You'll be responsible to:
Oversee operational tasks for FedRAMP cloud products, including deployments, on-call duties, and incident management.
This includes participating in regular deployment sync meetings and operational hand-offs.
Manage all cloud infrastructure components, such as AWS GovCloud, private cloud environments, containers, and VMs.
Develop operations documentation, handle escalations, and implement measures to prevent recurring incidents, while contributing to DevOps best practices.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, with relevant experience in an Operations or Engineering environment.
Experience with High/Moderate FedRAMP authorization levels and monthly monitoring programs (scanning, evaluating, patching, and reporting on environment vulnerabilities).
Hands-on experience with Linux administration, basic network troubleshooting, and infrastructure as code and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Coding experience (preferably Python) and expertise in container-based architectures (AWS ECS / Kubernetes).
Knowledge of virtualization, cloud architecture and services, automated deployments, web security, and protocols (HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, SQL) and networking fundamentals.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with High/Moderate FedRAMP authorization levels and monthly monitoring programs (scanning, evaluating, patching, and reporting on environment vulnerabilities).
Python coding experience.
Experience with container-based architectures (AWS ECS / Kubernetes).
Information Assurance Technician Level 2 certification.
