Responsibilities
• Extend Circle's blockchain systems infrastructure to support tokenization.• Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems.• Build and own scalable microservices that transfer value across blockchain and banking protocols.• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design and shape Circle features.• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and restore normal functioning.• Build publicly accessible APIs for developers to integrate with payment systems.• Integrate Platform Services with banks and financial technologies.• Consult with management on system principles.• Write infrastructure for great payment experiences.• Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience.• Computer Science degree or closely related field.• Technical leadership experience in architecture and system design.• Expertise in API design, payments processing, or blockchains.• Deep understanding/experience with architecture, design, and deployment of scalable software.• Knowledge of web3, blockchain, smart contract business logic, and RESTful API design.• Experience with cloud services, container orchestration systems, and SQL databases.• Strong focus on coding standards, code quality, and test coverage.• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.• Self-starter with a curious mindset and ability to work independently.
