Staff/Sr. Physical Therapist

Will work as part of an inpatient rehab team on diagnosis-specific units. Performs initial evaluation and treatment of patients. Responsible for providing patient care for inpatient as well as outpatient coverage if the need arises. Assist Lead Therapist with mentoring and/or orientation of new or newly rotated staff. Participate in PT student programming and other duties as assigned.

You must pass competencies for this position.

RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES: Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in New York State and have one year of post-licensure experience.

Willing to accept new graduates.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES: 1-2 years of experience with neuro and non-neuro patient care. Experience with Meditech documentation as well as Medilinks/Wellsky. Knowledge of inpatient Medicare guidelines for documentation. Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
