Staffing Coordinator / Nursing Scheduler

Staffing Coordinator / Nursing Scheduler Job Duties include: Must have recent experience as a Scheduler in a skilled healthcare facility. Scheduling all shifts for both Nurses and CNAs. Must be creative with completing the schedule and filling in all open shifts. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills; close and constant communication with nursing staff and administration. Keeping DON, ADON, and Administrator informed of staffing needs and scheduling difficulties. Running weekly reports to ensure all clients are scheduled. Handling special projects and other duties as assigned by DON/Administrator. Requirements: Computer literate. Long term care experience. Heavy phone contact. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable to any situation and able to concentrate under stress and tension.
