The Role: The Stakeholder Relations Associate/Manager will work within Energix Renewables Development Team focused within the PJM-ISO, specifically Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky and other states as assigned.

This role will support Energix Renewables strategic renewable energy-related stakeholder engagement, local community relations, drafting communications for strategic planning and social impact partnership development.
This position is intended to be based out of Energix's Arlington, Virginia office, but a hybrid (part-time in office/part time remote) structure could be discussed for the right candidate; preference to candidates located within driving distance to our projects and our Arlington, Virginia office.
Travel estimated at 30-40%.
Primary Duties: As a Stakeholder Relations Associate/Manager your primary focus is to:
Accountable for the development and implementation of state and project-specific engagement plans and related budgets that align with the company's brand positioning and support its development objectives.
Maintain, cultivate, and document relationships and engagement activities with key leadership within affected communities and local organizations.
Key stakeholders may include local government officials, business leaders, landowners, emergency responders, and non-government organizations.
Build and maintain strong internal relationships with cross-functional teams, including development, permitting, execution, construction and others.
Informing the team of potential project risks, opportunities, stakeholder concerns and critical engagement activities.
Specific Accountabilities:
Research, engage, and build strategic partnerships within local communities hosting Energix projects in alignment with project educational and collaboration needs.
Create and maintain accurate lists of stakeholders in project areas.
Collect, review, and document stakeholder feedback and interactions through the utilization of our stakeholder relations management tool.
Draft, collaborate, and distribute targeted external communications, such as informational handouts, talking points, presentations, and public meeting displays, to bolster local presence and maintain open project communications.
Monitor project toll-free phone lines and project emails as well as social and traditional media.
Complete needed administrative tasks such as processing invoices, mailings, ordering marketing materials, and managing an events and communications calendar.
Participate in formalized Energix-specific learning opportunities to further your knowledge and understanding towards leading the energy transition.
