This position is a 100% onsite opportunity.
You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
Sign on bonus eligible* As a Sterile Processing Technician I, you will be responsible for preparing OR surgical case carts, decontamination and sterilization of reprocess able supplies, equipment and surgical instruments consistent with innovation of patient care.
Sterile Processing Technician I Required Qualifications High school diploma/equivalent Must be able to appropriately and effectively react to requests for emergency supplies Must be a clear communicator both verbally and written Sterile Processing Technician I Preferred Qualifications One year in Central Supply as a Process Store Supply Technician is desirable Experience in the central supply of another hospital is desirable Organizational Overview Located in Historic Hyde Park, UChicago Medicine is a not-for-profit integrated and academic health system of hospital and physician services, providing world class care since 1927.
