The Stewards/Dishwashers team members ensure that all cooking utensils, china equipment, flatware, and glassware are clean and sanitized.

What will be expected of you: Wash all wares in a dishwashing machine or by hand according to the highest sanitation standardsPolish all silverware, platters, and chafing dishesCollect trash from kitchen areas, empty garbage cans, wash and reline with new bags, break down boxes and crates, and remove debris.Examine garbage for misplaced silverware, dishes, glassware, and other reusable items.Wash and polish all stainless steel in the kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee areas, refrigerators, walk-ins, etc.Wash and clean receiving, trash, and other kitchen-related areasSweep and mop kitchen floorsStore all dishes and other wares in the proper areasClean the dish machine and dish area after each meal periodPerform other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, storing foods after delivery, and cleaning coolers, freezers, and storeroomsMaintain inventories of soap, chemicals, and paper towelsTransfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areasHandle all china and glassware carefully to minimize breakageContinuously inspect floors in the kitchen areas to ensure they remain clean, clear of debris, and dryAssist in completing weekly kitchen cleaning and maintenance listClean and safely store all brooms, mops, and other cleaning equipment in their proper places How we determine your qualifications: High School Degree or Equivalent required Benefits: This is a Full-Time PositionComplimentary mealsComplimentary parkingHealth, Dental & Vision Insurance (Available for Full and Part-Time Team Members)Employee Discounts Golf, Tennis, Fitness Apparel/ItemsCongressional offers competitive benefits focused on total well-being and dependent aid as we aim to help you achieve a healthy work and personal life.
