Stocker

The primary responsibility of the Stocker is to provide the highest quality of service to customers at all times. The Stocker is responsible for ensuring that the patient nourishment room areas are properly stocked and cleaned at all times.
SHIFT AND SCHEDULE 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Responsible for assessing the patient nourishment room on each floor and making sure that par stock levels are maintained. Properly recording each item stocked on the floor for billing purposes. Taking daily temperatures for each refrigerator /freezer containing patient floor stock and recording on appropriate form. Properly disposing of empty containers and boxes. Checking each fridge for unapproved food items (Outside food, personal lunches, open containers). May assemble and deliver patient trays in times of high volume. Complies with all Midland Memorial HACCP policies. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must be a high school graduate or equivalent Texas state food handlers required within 30 days of hire PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The individual must be able to
Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff. The individual must use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits.
