Stocker

Summary:

The Stocker first and foremost is responsible for guest relations and satisfaction.
He/She performs shelf stocking and back-room duties.
Tasks may also include spill cleanup, general housekeeping and other duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guestFollows daily work schedule as assigned by managementPerforms stocking duties including; lifting, stocking product, rotating product, blocking, facing, dusting, and orderingPerforms general housekeeping duties on sales floor and backroom areasMust be attentive at all times to needs of guests and be ready and able to direct/take guest to items in questionMay be called upon to act as front end help, such as checking and/or sackingPerforms other duties as requested or required by management

Key Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled mannerAbility to perform all physical aspects of stocker duties, including but not limited to bending lifting, squatting, climbing, walking and at times runningAbility to operate all ordering and backroom equipment, including a box baler, and safety cutterAbility to lift items weighing up to 80 lbs.
