Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Life Sales team as aStop LossInternal Sales Partner!About the roleIn this role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales activities of our Regional Group (Sales) Managers. You will correspond with brokers and wholesalers regarding Symetra's stop loss products and programs. You will build relationships with our RGMs and support them in their efforts to sell new business and renew our in-force business with our broker and wholesale channel partners.What you will doPartner with RGMs to drive territory sales through follow up on sales meetings and phone callsOccasional outbound calls that follow up on service and/or compensation issues brokers/wholesalers may be having, in support of our stop loss account managersAssist with product inquiries and product illustrationsGenerate and send brokers preliminary proposals in partnership with underwritingCommunicate with brokers when missing information is required to respond to/price an RFPCommunicate updates on pending producer licensing applicationsFulfill orders for marketing material and sales literatureWork with RGMs to develop sales campaign communications and leverage sales tools such as Power Prospecting, PowerBI quote activity suite, Peer Group Benchmark, etc.Follow up on RGMs behalf on previously issued proposalsAssist with prioritization of RGM RFP pipeline/digital rack in ESL systemAssist with setup/scheduling virtual meetings (MS Teams) as well as technical assistance during virtual meetingsPreliminary completion of broker questionnaires, submitting proposals via broker online portals such as RingMasterCommunicate with underwriting partners on RGMs behalf when RGM is traveling/meeting with brokersMay be called to assist with RFP processing and support of RA Team in peak season when resources are strainedWhy work at Symetra"If you want to invest in yourself and build a career, this is a great place to work.
