A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STORE MANAGER As a Store Manager, you are the fearless leader of our tanning salon! Your main priority is to train and lead your sales team to provide excellent customer service. Overseeing the daily operations, you create efficient schedules, ensure the store opens on time, review the payroll, address inventory needs, maintain a clean facility, and follow up on maintenance issues. You are responsible for driving profitability by maximizing sales and leading by example as you demonstrate an ability to reach goals.
You set the tone in our tanning salon and create a positive work environment for learning and growth. You train and develop associate and assistant managers. Each month, you evaluate the development of your team members and ensure they are adhering to best practices. When issues arise either with employees or customers, you use your problem-solving skills to find resolutions. Collaborating with the area manager, you analyze sales, develop strategies for growth, and support company marketing efforts. You love working with your team and feel great about the role you play in our success!
QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Moderate grammar, math, and computer skills Typically, a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a similar field OR 4 years of related industry or retail experience 1 year of management experience OR 6 months of Beaches Tanning Center management
experience A history of increasing revenue is preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule of 40 hours per week
