STORMWATER & EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL FIELD INSPECTORWORKING WITH SEVERAL DEPARTMENTSOur Stormwater & Erosion and Sediment Control Field Inspectors are critical supports to our active projects here at Costich and can expect to assist several departments with their stormwater and construction inspection expertise. We are seeking an adaptable, hard-working and proficient Field Inspector to play a key role in monitoring our projects through construction with excellent communication skills.

Schedule: 8 Hour Shift (Day shift – Monday to Friday) with overtime
Experience: NYSDEC 4-Hour Erosion & Sediment Control Training (Required – please take at your earliest convenience, reimbursement upon successful completion of the course). CPESC and/or CPSWQ certification is preferred, but not required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform SWPPP inspections under the direct supervision of a COSTICH Professional Engineer/Landscape Architect as required by the SPDES General Permit.Completion of COSTICH stormwater construction site inspection reports.Review and coordinate report deficiencies with COSTICH project managers and clients via phone and email correspondence.File reports with local municipality.Maintain an organized directory in COSTICH project job directory for reports and pertinent correspondence regarding the project.Review and prepare stormwater maintenance agreements, Notices of Termination, and other pertinent documents.
