As a seller-doer, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating client relationships, managing high-impact projects, and guiding our talented team to new heights of excellence. Our team supports a diverse and expanding client base across multiple sectors, including public agencies (Phase I and II NPDES Permittees), industrial clients (such as aerospace, manufacturing, and food service), educational institutions, and real estate development.
This position is available for our Long Beach, CA office and offers a hybrid work setting, providing flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
Drive business growth by promoting our brand, delivering high-quality work, and engaging in technical presentations and publications.Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and developing tailored proposals, scopes, costs, schedules, and budgets.Oversee the preparation of design drawings, water pollution control plans, stormwater quality plans, and engineering diagrams for stormwater treatment or infrastructure development.Conduct water quality and quantity studies, special studies, and regulatory compliance interpretations and implementation services.Direct and perform regulatory compliance services, including permit acquisition and NPDES project management for municipal agencies, industrial clients, and construction projects.Mentor and lead technical staff, fostering career growth and development as industry experts.Ensure high standards of quality control in reviewing technical reports, proposals, and cost estimates prepared by others.
Qualifications:
Civil Professional Engineering (PE) Registration in California is required.
Registration in Geology or Hydrogeology will also be considered.Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in civil/environmental/chemical engineering or a related field from an accredited university.Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated consulting experience in Southern California.Proficiency with hydrology models (e.g., SWMM, HSPF, Hydrocad) and stormwater industry certifications (e.g., CPSWQ, CPESC, QSD/P, QISP).Strong understanding of the Los Angeles Region Phase I NPDES Permit, with additional Phase I MS4 permits experience in Southern California being desirable.Strong operational use of computer databases and office programs (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word).Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and proposals.Demonstrated ability in project team management, oversight, and leadership.The pay range for this California position is $120,000- $150,000 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.
Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
