A day in the life as a Strategic Account Executive: As a full-time Strategic Account Executive, you will fortify and expand relationships with our clients, ensuring growth and profitability in our Employee Benefits Practice.

Responsibilities include: Strategic Client Lifecycle Management: Oversee strategic planning and consulting advice to clients including overseeing efforts in the production of Requests for Proposal (RFP), coordination of vendor responses, analysis and comparison of RFP responses, and preparation of a client report with recommendations. Work with all clients' related stakeholders. Facilitate communication, and all other action plans associated with client compliance. Oversee new client onboarding and annual renewal implementation. Oversee "Annual Service Calendar" deliverables. Ensure effective client communication. Other Duties: Consulting Manage the day-to-day projects of selected account managers and others in the employee benefits practice to ensure an elevated level of client satisfaction with Innovative as measured by 100% consistent, positive feedback from clients. Monitor the educational needs of the account management position and coordinate/teach any courses/tutorials needed to maintain account manager proficiency. Attend regular meetings with Innovative principles to review and discuss issues relating to account management and the operation of the company, business needs, etc. Conduct regular meetings with Innovative staff to discuss timely and/or relevant issues relating to the company or industry. Maintain education in the industry as measured by enrollment in or possession of various certification/degree programs (RHU, CEBS, AHIP, etc.). The ability to develop and amend internal service systems and processes as needed due to changes in market or Innovative business conditions. Adopt and promote the Innovative culture as a company who truly takes care of its people, defined as both customers and employees. This philosophy must manifest itself in each employee in their dealings with clients, prospects, vendors, and any other person who encounters Innovative. Support Innovative's effort to generate new business with existing clients. Support Innovative's efforts to create new products or services and bring them to market. Participate in Innovative's seminars to our target markets. Develop, coordinate, and evaluate benefit plans to clients with varied funding arrangements. Establish professional business relationships with markets, service providers, and insurance companies. Negotiate with vendors regarding contractual rates by reviewing contracts as against organization's performance standards. Establish measurements to guarantee effectiveness of programs. All other duties as assigned. CORE COMPETENCIES: Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of employee benefit programs, employee benefit consulting, and the legal, tax, and administrative issues pertaining to them as measured by licensing, accreditation, certification, testing, and training in each field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and particularly Excel. A high degree of organization and the ability to prioritize managing multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines. Experience delegating and following up on work assignments. The ability to interact and communicate with various carriers and vendors. Must be able to travel to clients' worksite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good listener.
