POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a top-performing sales professional to grow Business in Canada and North Central US. The position is home office based, preferably in a Canada but will consider other locations in Central US states. The Position will be focused on expanding our portfolio of solutions with existing customers and new locations for existing customers. Primary markets are Oil and Gas, Chemicals and Utilities and Municipalities.
Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with key accounts ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and requirements to implement customized solutions.
Expand the relationships with key accounts by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
Measure, track and analyze key account metrics.
Strengthen business relationships and identify opportunities within assigned accounts to accomplish organic growth.
Main point of contact between key accounts and internal teams.
Coordinate and facilitate regular client meetings
Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Work together with other ISC personnel to find solutions to more complex issues.
Maintaining and growing sales to existing iNet renewals.
Increasing sales of new technology solutions into both existing and future iNet customers
Sell solutions that contain both a hardware and software component resulting in a reasonable overall cost and highest level of personnel safety
Gather, report and communicate customers' feedback on service, technology and product delivery
Qualifications
SKILLS & WORK TRAITS
Overnight travel up to 50%
REQUIRED
10+ years of documented successful outside sales experience in IoT and/or Systems Solutions sales within an Industrial Sales environment
Basic understanding of industrial markets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated commitment to customer service, and can work with cross-functional internal teams
PREFERRED
Proven seasoned solutions professional with a deep understanding of solution sales and the ability to solve customer problems through innovative technology driven solutions
Understanding of cloud-based solutions and wireless communication protocols
Demonstrated success in selling to the C-Suite level
Previous Gas Detection sales experience
Experience working with a distribution network
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Experience using CRM software and forecasting (Salesforce.com preferred)
