Strategic Accounts Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Strategic Accounts Manager with a Biomedical background. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing market share by identifying and developing new Strategic Accounts, supporting the organization's initiatives for growth through Policy Deployment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Strategic Plans:Formulate detailed and strategic plans to grow key accounts, leveraging understanding of the biomedical industry, customer needs, and market trends.
Identify New Opportunities:Proactively identify and pursue potential new Strategic Accounts. This involves conducting in-depth market research, analyzing industry trends, and understanding the competitive landscape.
Engage in Networking Activities:Attend trade shows, networking events, and other industry gatherings to meet potential customers, understand their needs, and present our offerings.
Internal Collaboration:Work closely with internal Marketing, Product Development, and Sales Engineering teams to develop and tailor strategies that meet customer needs and drive growth. 
Drive Growth through Policy Deployment:Through the effective use of Policy Deployment, drive strategic breakthroughs through development and execution of a clearly articulated strategic plan to exceed customers' expectations, thereby gaining share and driving growth within accounts.
Support Organization's Strategic Growth Goals:Play a key role in supporting and achieving the organization's strategic goals for growth. This includes developing a deep understanding of these goals, aligning account management activities to these goals, and reporting progress regularly.
Reporting:Regularly report to management on account status, deal progress, and sales targets. This includes maintaining up-to-date records in the CRM, preparing detailed sales reports, and presenting findings in team and management meetings.
Travel Requirements:Up to 50% travel across the US as needed.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, specifically within the biomedical industry. Experience in strategic account management and business development is a must. 
Industry Knowledge:Deep knowledge of the biomedical industry, including understanding of the key players, market dynamics, product lines, and customer needs. 
Sales Skills:Proven track record in sales and account management, with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Strong negotiation skills and a customer-oriented approach.
Strategic Thinking:Ability to develop strategic plans for account management and growth, identifying breakthrough objectives and implementing them through Policy Deployment.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills:Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
Analytical Skills:Proficiency in market research, with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
Organizational Skills:Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
Computer Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM software, and virtual meeting platforms.
