Strategic Communications Specialist, Mid

Here, you'll advance your consulting skills to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal communications materials and media that support national security mission objectives.
As a communications specialist on our team, you will write and edit a wide range of communications products, including web copy, blogs, articles, human interest stories, and senior leadership messages in various formats and for various audiences.
You'll help develop, finalize, and implement strategic communications plans, and regularly collect and analyze data to determine the effectiveness and impact of your communications activities.
You'll then use that data to update your communications plans to ensure continued relevance and impact.
In this role, you'll draw on your creativity to assist with coordinating, publicizing, and creating multimedia products to support events such as conferences, awards and retirement ceremonies, and all hands meetings.
You'll work closely with senior client leadership as well as team members to come up with fresh ideas that incorporate industry best practices and popular trends.
You'll be responsible for briefing ideas, metrics, and more to stakeholders to get their buy-in for communications initiatives.
In everything you do, you will exercise sound judgement in decision-making and demonstrate maturity and professionalism in interacting with stakeholders at all levels and in all situations.
This role requires 100% onside delivery.

You Have:
* 2+ years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, or marketing
* Ability to interact professionally with senior-level clients, including making recommendations to advance their vision
* Knowledge of grammar, style, and punctuation standards and style guides
* Knowledge of organizational communications principles, best practices, and trends
* TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
* Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
* Experience in the Intelligence Community
* Experience developing and executing communications plans
* Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
* Master's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD).
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
