Strategic Insight Analyst (Entry Level)
Location: Plano, TX

About this opportunity:
The Strategy & Planning team in North America is responsible for charting the course of Ericsson's business in US and Canada over the next five years.
As a Junior Analyst in Strategy & Planning, you will help build Ericsson's strategic business plan and evaluate opportunities and risks.
Looking into the future of wireless communications and its impact on society, you will be helping assess critical topics such as Extended Reality (XR), future person-to-person communication, innovative business models, and transformation of enterprise productivity.
By combining your analytical capability with an innovative mindset and a passion to learn, this role will prepare you for a lifetime of professional growth in tech and global telecom.

What you will do:
•    Compile data, perform analyses and present conclusions
•    Assist in driving strategic business planning and related activities
•    Design, implement and populate Excel spreadsheets for business planning and scenario modeling
•    Help prepare, run and document meetings with the working team
•    Produce documentation, using PowerPoint and Word, relating to e.g. strategy and business planning
•    Review and validate data submissions received from other stakeholders, e.g., in business planning
•    Build professional skillset through apprenticeship, e.g., problem structuring, chart design, project planning and -management, cross-functional collaboration
•    Grow a network of colleagues across the organization (e.g., Market Intelligence, Finance, Sales, Delivery)
•    Acquire key insights related to telecom and its current and future impact on society

The skills you bring:
•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Mathematics, or similar
•    Outstanding academic track record in analytical subjects, e.g., Calculus, Probability, Statistics, Algebra, Computer Science
•    Proven top-performance mindset as individual and as team player (academics, athletics, etc.)
•    Project management experience solving business- and/or engineering problems, e.g., thesis work, internships, employment
•    Passion for understanding and solving business problems in a structured, analytical manner
•    Strong communication skills for oral presentations and written reports
•    Experience with MS PowerPoint and Word
•    Proficiency with MS Excel is preferred, e.g., building quantitative models
•    Prior experience from consulting/telecom/tech (preferred but not required)

Salary Range:
•    Bachelors: $62,985

Hiring Bonus:
•    Bachelors: $8,500
